I’ve found my mantra! Looking for some inspiration today fellow translators? Let me help, this is more than a podcast recommendation, it’s a way to boost your determination and motivation. I went for a quick walk 🚶‍♀️ this morning before sitting down at my desk, and as usual selected a podcast episode to accompany me, I have a few translation related podcasts I listen to regularly 🎧. This morning’s choice was an episode from Jason Willis-Lee’s podcast: Turn yourself into a booked out freelance translator (a very attractive title to start with!) It certainly fired me up this morning!

I really enjoy Jason's podcast as it is full of tips helpful for both newbies to the profession and to more seasoned translators. It's great that Jason releases a mix of formats: sometimes it's a very short episode with just him talking, sometimes it's a longer interview. I like that I have the ability to choose an episode type depending on how much time I have and what kind of format I feel like in that moment. It's always incredibly interesting and the tips shared by Jason and his guests are incredibly actionable!
